Description

A Type 1-style dense graded sub-base material marketed as non-Specification for Highway Works, or non-highways, material. It is intended to provide a compacted foundation where formal SHW compliance is not required.

Typical Uses

Private roads, yards, hardstanding, paths, temporary works and general construction sub-base.

'NSH' is a supplier or trade designation rather than a universal national specification. The grading and performance must be confirmed with the supplier.
