Naturally rounded stones larger than gravel, commonly produced from river or glacial deposits and screened into nominal size ranges.

Decorative landscaping, water features, drainage, borders and, where engineered, gabion or erosion-control applications.

Size, colour and rock type vary by source. Decorative cobbles are not automatically suitable for structural use.
