Site-won, recycled granular material produced from crushed concrete, masonry, brick or similar inert construction material. Under the UK Specification for Highway Works, Class 6F2 is a selected granular material used on the site where it is produced.
Capping layers, temporary haul roads, working platforms and bulk fill, subject to project specification.
Grading and permitted constituents must be confirmed against the project specification. If the same material is imported from elsewhere it is normally classified as 6F5 rather than 6F2.
